The A. T. Davis Foundation, Inc. (ATDF) provides a number of training grants for exceptional educators, youth and community workers, parents, and concerned citizens to participate in courses offered through the Center for Leadership in Education and Academic Development (C-LEAD). Our grant requires each grant applicant to submit an application, the approval of our Grant Review Team, and the support of your immediate supervisor, school/departmental director, our community leader. Training grants are to be used to cover the costs associated with developing a new skill or competency that directly relates to your role as an educator or community leader. Applications for Exceptional Educator/Leader Grant (EELG) must be submitted at least 2 weeks before the desired course is offered. A limited number of Exceptional Educator/Leader Grant applications will be approved for each Onsite Course. If no EELG Grants are awarded for any C-LEAD program or event, then additional Exceptional Educator/Leader Grants may be awarded in subsequent programs until the EELG funds are exhausted. Unsuccesful EELG Applications should consider applying for subsequent programs and inquire as to the reason for the denial of their application.
