A message from our Leader...
Hello and thank you for visiting The Center for Leadership in Education and Academic Development (C-LEAD). I am pleased to welcome you to this new component of the A. T. Davis Foundation, Inc. The C-LEAD has been established to assist educators, especially teachers and school administrators, with job responsibilities, to enhance personal and professional growth, and, ultimately, to impact student achievement by impacting the people responsible for educating them. C-LEAD is our learning laboratory for school personnel. Programs include active learning opportunities for professional development, teacher recertification, school district in-service training, and consultation services to assist school leaders in the performance of their duties.
At the C-LEAD we know that an investment in your teachers and school personnel is an INVESTMENT IN YOUR CHILDREN, OUR YOUTH, OUR COMMUNITIES, AND OUR WORLD! And we have a staff and Faculty that is committed to providing quality programs, services, and courses, that maximize the return on your investment. Each of our Faculty are certified content experts as witnessed by their attainment of Masters and Doctorates, numerous years of professional teaching and administrative experience, and substantial years in educational and organizational leadership roles. Many have served as State or District level consultants in Education Leadership, Organizational Development and Leadership, and have provided quality instruction in many content and subject areas.
At the Center for Leadership in Education and Academic DEvelopment our primary goals are to expand and maximize the knowledge base of educators, youth and community workers, and concerned citizens through an array of leadership and learning opportunities. These “investments” of time, human, and materials resources should allow each educator and youth worker to achieve the mission of serving our children and youth in the most efficient, effective, creative, and innovative ways possible.
I invite you to examine our programs, services, and courses. There are few gaurantees in learning and education. However, I gaurantee that you will enjoy our courses, the instructors, your colleagues, and the results you achieve. If you do not, then the next ones on us! The C-LEAD will offer programs and services that meet your needs! I am a lifelong educator and hire Faculty and Staff who believe, as I do, that contributing to the learning of others is one of the most noble goals a professional can have. This is our commitment to you, or communities, and the world in which we live.
